Terms of Service
Welcome to ResumeDive. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ResumeDive and its related apps, content, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. Who we are
ResumeDive is operated by Maker Studios. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Maker Studios.
2. The Service
ResumeDive provides résumé feedback, career-planning, and related tools. Outputs are generated automatically (including by large language models) and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They are not professional career, legal, financial, or medical advice.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of any résumé text, files, or other materials you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit Your Content.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload content that infringes others’ rights or that you don’t have permission to use;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service;
- use the Service to harass, defame, or harm anyone;
- use the Service to violate any applicable law.
5. Purchases
Some features (such as the Résumé Tailor Kit) are sold through third-party processors. Purchases are subject to those processors’ terms. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable once the related digital good has been delivered.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will ResumeDiveor its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
